Why ACDC

The last guy could not get that spot out.

Any truck-mount can clean carpet. What you are paying for is the person running it. On Smithfield and Richmond jobs, that is the owner, on most every job. ACDC has cleaned carpets at this end of the valley since 2010. He cares how the carpet looks when he leaves and what you say about it after. Hours are Monday through Friday 8 to 5, Saturday 8 to noon, Sunday closed. Emergencies 24/7.

The van parks in the driveway. Corner guards go on the baseboards. Shoe covers go on before the wand comes out. Insured. Screened technicians. IICRC certified.

Most spots that come back are soap or soil left deep in the pad. We bring a truck-mounted machine with real heat and strong vacuum, a rotary tool that scrubs from more than one direction, and spotters matched to the stain. After a thorough clean and rinse with superheated soft water we set Dri-Eaz air movers so most rooms are walkable the same day. residue-free carpet cleaning

Cranberry juice

Before and after extraction. The soil leaves the house with the water instead of drying back into the carpet.

Before and after

Same rooms after a full extraction. Furniture moved, pile rinsed, then the fans.

From the van.

Scrub-wand on everyday dirt. Rotovac when the carpet has taken a beating. It scrubs the pile from every direction while it rinses, so heavy lanes stand back up instead of staying flat. Too much machine on light soil is overkill. Too little on heavy soil leaves dirt behind. We pick the one that fits.

Smithfield-side homes and rentals get the same crew and the same truck. Call (435) 563-8383.

The visit

Four steps. No mystery.

  1. 1

    Inspect

Fiber, spots, and furniture get a look before the wand comes out.

  2. 2

    Pre-treat

Spots get the right solution. Mild and green options are available.

  3. 3

    Extract

Truck-mount heat and vacuum pull soil out of the house, not onto the lawn.

  4. 4

    Protect & dry

Protector is your call. Either way, we set air movers before we leave so you can use the room again the same day.

“The entire process was quick, efficient, and done with great attention to detail. I highly recommend their service to anyone needing quality carpet cleaning!”

Stacie Chatterton · Cache Valley

“He is an extremely hard working man that pays attention to detail. I have hired him twice and have seen excellent results in both the commercial and residential cleaning. He spends the time to do the job correctly and does not cut corners. His method and equipment are far superior to the standard steam cleaners. His pricing is very fair. When the cleaning needs to be done well, call him, you will be thrilled with the results.”

Mike Morley · Cache Valley

“We had him come out and work on some ink spots and pet stains in our home. He was a magician. The carpet looks much better and his pricing was very reasonable. Highly recommend!”

Jessica Littlefield · Cache Valley

“Did an incredible job!! We are amazed at how clean they were able to get our carpets. Showed up on time, was very professional and we will have them do all of our carpets from here on out!”

Questions

Straight answers.

Why should I hire a carpet cleaning service instead of renting a machine and doing it myself?
To keep the manufacturer warranty. Most mills have Carpet Care guidelines that call for a professional cleaning at least once every 18 months, using products, equipment, and systems with the Carpet and Rug Institute Seal of Approval. A rental box does not meet that standard — and it leaves soil and rinse water you paid to get out.
How often should I get my carpets cleaned?
As a general rule, a 12-month schedule is adequate. Each house is different. Pets, kids, allergies, and rental turns may need more frequent visits.
What are the steps that I can expect a certified professional to take when cleaning my carpet?
The IICRC S100 standard covers dry soil removal, soil suspension with preconditioning, hot water extraction, grooming, and drying. That is the sequence we follow — not a spray-and-vacuum pass with a rental box.
What do I need to do before you arrive?
Pick up small items, toys, and breakables from the floor. We move furniture on request. Pets should be secured. If you have parking or gate instructions, tell us when you book.
