We use ACDC Carpet Cleaning in all of our rental units in Smithfield, Logan, Hyrum and all places in Cache Valley. He is quite frankly the best. He does a tremendous job on keeping even our older carpets looking great. He is very organized and professional and always shows up on time and gets the job done, no matter what it takes. He is available for Emergency calls and takes care of all of our after hours emergencies as well. We wouldn't ever use anyone else.

Find what works for you and your family and then plan out your schedule accordingly. Cleaning doesn’t have to be a nightmare. Take it one task, one day at a time.

Cleaning house is not a thing that brings me great joy. After I’ve finished cleaning then sure, it’s enjoyable, but just the thought of cleaning the whole house can feel overwhelming (can you relate?). However, I’m learning it doesn’t have to be a stressful endeavor.

Letting the mess pile up will actually cause more stress. According to several studies, women who describe their homes as “cluttered” were more depressed and fatigued than those who felt their homes were restful and clean. Yes, cleaning can sometimes feel daunting. But you can do it! Do it for your physical and mental well-being! And hopefully today at Sharing Shine, we can break down the cleaning routine for you. You don’t have to get all your cleaning done in one day. If that causes you great anxiety, why not spread it out throughout the week? Then your list of tasks won’t seem near as lengthy. Here are some ideas we came up with, but find out what works best for you personally.

MORNINGS:

Make your bed. Those who make their bed daily report better nightly sleep.
Wipe down bathroom counters
Empty dishwasher

EVENINGS:

Load dishwasher
Wipe down kitchen counters
Take out the trash
Quick sweep and vacuum floors
Organize any rooms with clutter

WEEKLY CHORES:

Monday: Laundry

Tuesday: Deep vacuum and mop floors

Wednesday: Clean oven, fridge and microwave

Thursday: Wipe down walls and doors

Friday: Clean mirrors

Remember, find what works for you and your family and then plan out your schedule accordingly. Cleaning doesn’t have to be a nightmare. Take it one task, one day at a time.
